House of Normandy
The Rolloniden are the family of the Norman Earls and Dukes of Normandy from the beginning of the 10th century, and of the kings of England from 1066 to 1135.
The most important members of the family are:
- William I, the Conqueror of England,
- Henry I, his son, and
- Matilda, Henry's daughter, wife of the Emperor Henry V, which is called in the English language because of " Empress Maude ," and is the ancestress of the House of Anjou - Plantagenet because of her second marriage to Gottfried Plantaganet.
