Houses of the Holy is the fifth album by the British rock band Led Zeppelin. It was recorded from January to August 1972 in London, Star Groves, Headley Grange and New York City and produced and released by Atlantic Records on 28 March 1973.

The cover photo was taken in Northern Ireland at the Giant's Causeway. It was in some countries (eg USA) censored so as not to show the two naked children.

However, the "theme song " Houses of the Holy was not on this album, but was filed on Physical Graffiti, so to speak.
