Houssine Kharja ( born November 9, 1982 in Poissy, France) is a Moroccan football player.

In the club

Kharja joined the 2001/02 season in the Italian Serie B Ternana Calcio, where he spent a total of four seasons before joining the 2005/06 season in the Serie A for AS Roma. There he came only occasionally used, among other things, when he made ​​his debut on 20 October 2005 to mark the UEFA Cup group match against the Norwegian Club Tromsø IL in the European Football Cup competition. For the next season he returned to Ternana Calcio. After he spent half a year to Piacenza Calcio in 2007, he played from 2008 for the AC Siena, where he established himself as a regular player. In summer 2009, he moved to Genoa.

After the winter 2011 - first as a loan with a subsequent purchase option - moved to league rival Inter Milan, he scored on 3 February 2011 during his second outing for the new club in a 3-0 victory over AS Bari 1-0.

In jersey Inter Milan Kharja was also his debut in the UEFA Champions League. On 23 February 2011 he was in the first knockout round second leg, on as a substitute against the German record champion Bayern Munich, in the 73rd minute for Andrea Ranocchia. Inter lost the match 0-1.
