Houston Stars

The Houston Stars were an American football franchise from Houston, Texas, who participated at the 1967 Games Operating the United Soccer Association (USA ) and in 1968 the game operation of the North American Soccer League ( NASL ). The stars were Roy Hofheinz, the owner of the local major league baseball team Astros and the Astrodome, which was their home ground. The name was Stars, as well as the name of the Astros and the Astro Dome, similar to the status of Houston as a center of the U.S. Weltraumindistrie.

USA
