Hova, Sweden

Hova is one of the two main centers of the Swedish community Gullspång (along with Gullspång ). The village lies about 30 kilometers northeast of the city Mariestad on the European road 20 and has 1288 inhabitants ( 2010).

Near the place was 1275 instead of a battle, was defeated in the king Valdemar Birgersson by his brother Magnus Ladulås with support from the Danish knight.

On this occasion every year in July, a knight week in Hova place that has become a tourist attraction.
