Hove is a town in the English unitary authority Brighton and Hove on the English Channel. It counts about 67,600 inhabitants and has grown together over the course of history with Brighton. 1997 Hove was merged with Brighton, Portslade Rottingdean and the city of Brighton and Hove in 2000 and received the status of a so-called Millennium City ( City without all the royal city privileges ).

The town developed from a residence to a vacation spot in which some enterprises of light industry have settled. In the 19th century, the luxurious seaside resort of Brunswick was built.
