Howard Brockway

Howard A. Brockway ( born November 22, 1870 in Brooklyn, New York City; † February 20, 1951 in New York City ) was an American composer.

Brockway studied composition in Berlin at Otis Bardwell Boise and piano with the Court Pianist Heinrich Barth. After that he worked as a piano teacher and composer in New York and Baltimore.

He composed a symphony, a suite, symphonic ballads, a piano concerto, chamber music, choirs and songs.
