Howard Duff

Howard Green Duff (born 24 November 1913 in Bremerton, Washington; † July 8, 1990 in Santa Barbara, California ) was an American actor.

Life

He made his 1932 graduation at Roosevelt High School. During his time he played basketball and theater. He then studied acting and played several years at the Repertory Playhouse in Seattle. During the Second World War, he served from 1941 to 1945 in the Radio Division of the United States Army Air Forces. His screen debut was in the then published in 1947 and directed by Jules Dassin film drama cell R 17 on the side of Burt Lancaster and Hume Cronyn. Larger Duff gained fame through his many years working in television series such as Mr. Adams and Eve, Dante, Felony and Flamingo Road.

Howard Duff died on 8 July 1990. He was married twice. From 1951 to 1984 he was married to actress and filmmaker Ida Lupino. The relationship itself ended in 1966. Both had a child together. Until his death he was married to Judy Jenkinson. Duff has his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1623 Vine Street.
