Howard Eisley

Howard Jonathan Eisley ( born December 4, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan ) is an American professional basketball player who played in the North American Basketball League NBA from 1994 to 2006. He played in a total of eight different teams, including 1995 to 2000 when two-time runner-up Utah Jazz, but only in 2002/ 03 was able to prevail as a regular player with the New York Knicks. At 1.88 meters tall, he played at the position of the point guards.

Career

After his time in the NCAA for the Boston College Howard Eisley was committed in the second round of the draft in 1994 at a total of 30 out of the Minnesota Timberwolves. During his first season he moved to the San Antonio Spurs. As early as the following season, followed by another transfer, namely, to the Utah Jazz, where he mostly as a substitute of John Stockton was used. On the side of Stockton and Karl Malone came Eisley in 1997 and '98 to the NBA Finals. In 2000 he moved from the Utah Jazz to the Dallas Mavericks, where he at least temporarily became a regular player for the first time. It was already Eisleys fourth consecutive season in which it was used in every game of the regular season. 2001 Eisely went to the New York Knicks. In the season 2002/ 03 Eisley ran in 76 of the 82 season games from the outset, scoring career - bests of 9.1 points on average and 5.4 assists per game, but already during the next season, he moved again, this time to the Phoenix Suns. After another season with the Utah Jazz was followed by the 2005/ 06 two brief guest appearances with the Los Angeles Clippers as well as the Denver Nuggets. Last Eisley was in the squad of the Chicago Bulls, where he no longer, however, was used.
