Howard Rosenberg

Howard Rosenberg ( born June 10, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an American film critic and journalist.

Life

Howard Rosenberg studied history at the University of Oklahoma and his Masters in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. He was for 25 years a film critic for the Los Angeles Times. For his work in 1985 he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for Criticism. After he called George W. Bush for his behavior after the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001 " rigid and boyish " ( stiff and boyish ), there was a major controversy. So he was " Osama bin Rosenberg " and called several people demanded his dismissal at the Los Angeles Times. He retired in 2003. His teaching at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, which he recorded in 1991, he leads since continued.
