Howie Lee

Howard Stewart " Howie " Lee ( born October 13, 1929 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Career

Howard Lee began his career as a hockey player with the Toronto Marlboros, for their youth team, he was active from 1949 to 1949 in the Ontario Junior Hockey Association. Subsequently, he was included in the seniors team of Marlboros, with whom he went straight to 1950 Allan Cup, the Canadian Amateur Championship title, won. After another year at the Marlboros he played in the season 1951/52, as Players out on loan for the Saint John Beavers of the Maritime Major Hockey League. From 1952 up to end of his career in 1958 at the age of 28 years, he ran for the Kitchener- Waterloo Dutchmen, with whom he also won the 1953 and 1955 Allan Cup. With the Dutchmen in 1956, he represented Canada at the Olympic Winter Games. Immediately after the return of the Olympic Winter Games he ran also briefly towards the end of the 1955/56 season for the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League on professional, rather returned to the Kitchener -Waterloo Dutchmen.

Internationally

For Canada, Lee took part in the Winter Olympics 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
