Hraběšice

Hraběšice ( German Rabe soaps) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers east of Šumperk and belongs to Okres Šumperk. The community is a member of the Association of Municipalities Svazek obcí 's Valley Desne.

Geography

Surrounded by woods Hraběšice located in Rabenseifener Bergland ( Hraběšická Highlands ) in the source basin of the creek Hraběšický creek. To the northwest rises the Prostřední skala ( center stone, 718 m), in the east of Skály ( Haidsteiner White stone, 929 m) and in the southeastern Kamenný vrch ( Haidstein, 952 m).

Neighboring towns are Sobotín in the north, Rudoltice in the northeast, Žďárský Potok and Stara Ves in the east, Bedřichov, Véska and Třemešek the southeast, Mladoňov in the south, Krasne in the southwest, Anenský Dvůr and Vikýřovice in the west and Rapotín and Petrov nad Desnou in the northwest.

History

The village was first mentioned in 1569 as a settlement of loggers and miners. In the vicinity of Hraběšice iron ore was mined. The name of the named after Hrabiš of Schwabenitz and Aussee place was Germanized over the years and converted into Raven soaps. 1569 sold the dominion United Ullersdorf the village together with Frank city to the town of Schönberg. 1677 was the site of 25 properties. In 1690 Schonthal was founded. 1834 lived 355 people in 59 houses of Raven soaps. 1842 had its own parish was established in Raven soaps. 1844, a school building was inaugurated, where until 1888 the Schönthaler children were taught. Until 1848 Raven soaps belonged to the Moravian Schönberger estates.

After the abolition of patrimonial Raven soaps / Rabenseif formed in 1850 with the district Schonthal a municipality in the district of Moravian Schönberg. 1880 the community had 751 inhabitants. At the end of the 19th century, the Czech name of the village changed in Hraběšice. In 1900 lived in 75 houses in the village Raven soaps 409 people in Schonthal were 50 houses with 230 inhabitants. After the First World War, first holiday homes emerged. 1930 lived in Raven soaps 461 people, including three Czechs. After the Munich Agreement in 1938 the community was annexed by the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district Moravian Schönberg. 1939 Raven soaps 463 inhabitants. After the Second World War made ​​the expulsion of the German inhabitants and repopulated with Czechs from the Hanna. In 1950, in the 90 houses of the community 202 people, 67 houses with 115 inhabitants in the district were Hraběšice. 1976 Hraběšice was incorporated into Šumperk. Since 1990, the community is again. In 1991, only 21 houses permanently for residential purposes and used the village had 64 permanent residents. Most of the houses is used as holiday homes. Hraběšice is a winter sports center, where two ski lifts are operated.
