Hrastnik ( German: Eichthal ) is a municipality in Slovenia.

Location and population

Hrastnik is located about 15 kilometers southwest of Celje. The total municipality has approximately 10,000 inhabitants. The municipality adjacent to the site include Hrastnik ( 6,673 inhabitants), the 9 villages Boben, Dol pri Hrastniku, Kovk, Krnice - Šavna - Pec ( Krnice and Šavna Pec ), Marno, Podkraj, Prapretno pri Hrastniku, Rudnik, Steklarna, and Turje - Gore ( Turje and Gore ), and the places Brdce, Brnica, Cece, Kal, Krištandol, Plesko, Studence, and Unično.

One of the most important industries in Hrastnik is the glass factory Steklarna Hrastnik Ltd. ..
