Hrubá Borša

Hrubá Borša (Hungarian Nagyborsa ) is a municipality in Okres Senec within the Bratislavský kraj in Slovakia.

Geography

Hrubá Borša located in the Danube lowland between the rivers Danube and Small Čierna voda. The city Senec is situated 9 km northwest.

History

The church is first mentioned in 1244 as Borsa. The name is on the old nobleman's family Borsay, the goods had around the village, based.
