HTML Tidy

HTML Tidy is a computer program that helps to detect and correct these errors by removing or inserting the missing tags invalid HTML tags. The program was developed from the late 1990s by Dave Raggett (W3C ), later it became a SourceForge project. The source code is written in ISO C and is under the W3C license.
