Hua Mulan

Hua Mulan (花 木兰Chinese, Pinyin Hua Mulan ) is the heroine of an ancient Chinese folk poem (so-called Yuefu ), probably 420-589 arose after Christ and was detained until several centuries later in written form.

The protagonist, a girl from a good family by the name of Mulan is said to have lived in the 5th century AD, and disguised as a man in order to draw in place of her father in the war. From the earliest sources of the Ballad of Mulan it can not find that they probably lived during the Northern Wei Dynasty ( 386-534 ). In another version of the legend Mulan but is described as a concubine of Emperor Yang, who reigned 604-617.
