Huai Khot District
Amphoe Huai Khot ( Thai อำเภอ ห้วย ค ด ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the central part of the province of Uthai Thani. The Uthai Thani Province is located in the northern region of Thailand.
Geography
Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise): Amphoe Ban Rai, the, Lan Sak and Nong Chang of Uthai Thani province.
History
Huai Khot was founded on 1 August 1984 as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ), consisting of the three Tambon Huai Khot, Suk Ruethai and Thong Lang, which were split off from the circle Ban Rai. On 3 November 1993, the sub-district received the full Amphoe status.
Management
The circle is divided into three subdistricts (tambon ), which are divided further into 31 villages ( Muban ).
There are also three " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
