Huai Thalaeng District

Amphoe Huai Thalaeng ( Thai: อำเภอ ห้วยแถลง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the eastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima. The Nakhon Ratchasima province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Huai Thalaeng borders the following counties (from west clockwise): Amphoe to the Chakkarat, Phimai and Chum Phuang in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, Amphoe Lam Plai and to the Mat and Nong Hong of Buriram Province.

History

The village of Huai Thalaeng was originally managed by the Tambon Ngio ( ตำบล งิ้ว ) of Amphoe Phimai. In 1961 it became the Tambon Huai Thalaeng and later to the small district ( King Amphoe ) promoted. 1963 Kleinzirk was raised to the Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Huai Thalaeng is divided into ten sub-districts ( tambon), which in turn have a total of 120 municipalities ( Muban ).

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Huai Thalaeng ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ห้วยแถลง ), consisting of parts of the tambon Huai Thap Thalaeng and Sawai,
  • Hin Dat ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หิน ดาด ), consisting of parts of the tambon Hin Dat.

There are also ten administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
