Huang Hua (politician)

Huang Hua (Chinese黄华, Pinyin Huang Huá; born January 25, 1913 in Hebei Province as Rumei Wang, † November 24, 2010 in Beijing) was a Chinese politician and the first UN Ambassador of the People 's Republic of China.

Huang Hua joined the Communist Party of China in 1936. Between 1960 and 1971 he was successively Ambassador to Ghana, Egypt and Canada. From 1976 to 1982 he was Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, 1978, the head of the negotiations on the establishment of diplomatic relations with the United States.

In addition, he was president of various institutions and a foundation within China.
