Huang Liping

Huang Liping (Chinese黄力平, Pinyin Huang Liping, * January 1972 in Wuhan, Hubei, China) is a former Chinese gymnast and currently race marshals in gymnastics.

Career

Huang Liping started in 1978 as an amateur, came 1985, the team of Hubei Province and was elected the following year in the Chinese national team gymnast. In 1993 he won the gymnastics discipline with the team at the national championships Turner. Also in the individual all-around he was victorious and also won on the horizontal bar and parallel bars. After triumphs followed in some Turner World Championships as group and individual winners. At the 1996 Summer Olympics he won the silver medal with the Chinese team Turner.

Resign and contest judges

After his retirement from the national team, he was the 1996 contest judge's examination and became the youngest judge in gymnastics competition in China. In 1998 he became coach of Turner. In the same year he was replaced by Li Ning.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics Huang Liping was chosen as a representative for all competition judge to during the opening ceremony store the Olympic oath of the judges at the Beijing National Stadium.
