Huangmei County

The Huangmei County (Ch:黄梅县; Pinyin: Huangmei Xiàn ) is a county in China's Hubei province. He belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Huanggang. In 1999, he counted 979 464 inhabitants.

The Pagoda of Sizu Temple ( Sizu si ta四 祖 寺塔) - one under the Fourth Patriarch ( Daoxin ) of Chan Buddhism temple named - and the monastery of the Fifth Patriarch ( Wuzu si五祖 寺) are on the list of monuments the People's Republic of China.
