Hubble (crater)

79.58

Hubble is an impact crater on the northeastern edge moon front page, it is, therefore, if at all, only highly distorted visible. It is located southwest of Joliot and east of Plutarch. The rim is eroded, the Wall has terracing on. The interior is largely flat.

The crater was created in 1964 officially named by the IAU by the U.S. astronomer Edwin Hubble. Previously, the crater was designated as Plutarch A.
