The Hubble Township is one of 10 townships in Cape Girardeau County in the southeast of the U.S. state of Missouri.
Geography
The Hubble Township is located approximately 15 kilometers west of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Illinois. The mouth of the Ohio at Cairo at the interface of the states of Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky is located approximately 80 km south-east.
The Hubble Township is located at 37 ° 17'11 " north latitude and 89 ° 43'05 " west longitude and extending over 147.02 km ², spread over 146.64 km ² land and 0.38 km ² water surface.
On the southern edge of the township of Headwater Diversion Channel flows in an easterly direction, a man-made flood channel which receives next to the Castor River a number of other rivers and south of the town of Cape Girardeau in the Mississippi River empties.
The Hubble Township borders within the Cape Girardeau County on the north by the Byrd Township, on the east by the Cape Girardeau Township, on the south by the Welch Township, on the west by the Liberty Township and the northeast by the children Township.
