Hubert Damisch

Hubert Damisch ( born 1928 ) is a French philosopher and professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris.

He focuses on the semiology in aesthetics, painting, architecture, photography, cinema and theater. His work is at the interface between philosophy and art history.
