Hudiksvalls FF

The Hudiksvalls Allmänna Bollklubb is a Swedish football club based in Hudiksvall. The team played several years in the second highest Swedish league.

History

Hudiksvalls ABK was founded on May 18, 1931, the name Hudiksvalls Arbetares Bollklubb, but took four years later the name still used today. For a long time the team played in unterklassigen area of the Swedish league pyramid. 1967 ascended to the third tier, she established herself there in the following years. By the early 1970s, the club sat in the front league range fixed and reached 1974 Season Winner Division 3 Södra Norrland the promotion round to the second league, behind IFK Luleå and Falu BS but the team missed the rise. In the following season the team repeated the relay victory and sat through before Domsjö IF, Notvikens IK and Enköpings SK.

In the second division Hudiksvalls ABK first played against relegation, but had in the first season, four points clear of the area occupied by Ope IF, IF and Domsjö Gefle IF relegation zone. In the season 1977, the club reached the fourth table, the best result to date in their history, but could not intervene in the promotion race as championship leader Västerås SK had played out nine -point lead.
