Hufen-Oberlyzeum

The hooves - Oberlyzeum was a girls' school in Königsberg ( Prussia).

Elvira Szittnick founded in 1902 a high school for girls in the front Hindenburg road. 1905 moved the school to a new building in the later Hindenburg road. The Free State of Prussia acquired this secondary school and converted it in 1921 in the hooves - Oberlyzeum to which should continue the tradition of the Royal Luis Foundation (Posen). The first director was also the last; Alfred Walsdorff headed the school until January 1945.
