Hugh III, Count of Burgundy

Hugh of Chalon or Hugo of Salins called (* 1220, † 1266 ), in the name of his wife was ( de jure uxoris ) a Count Palatine of Burgundy ( Franche -Comté ) out of the house Chalon, a tributary branch of the House of Burgundy - Ivrea. Hugo was married by his father in 1236 with Adelheid of Meranien († 1279 ), a sister of the Duke Otto II of Meranien, which at the same time the Count Palatine of Burgundy ( Otto III. ) Was.
