Hugh Mundell

Hugh Mundell ( born June 14, 1962 in Kingston, † October 14, 1983 ) was a Jamaican Roots Reggae artist.

His first single Where is Natty Dread, produced by Joe Gibbs, he published in 1975 at the age of 13 years. In 1978, his first album, Africa Must Be Free by 1983, this time in collaboration with Augustus Pablo. The following year, Mundell produced his own records, he brought a total of five albums on the market. Hugh Mundell was assassinated in 1983, driving with Junior Reid in the car he was shot in the streets of Kingston.
