Hugh O'Brian

Hugh O'Brian ( born April 19, 1925 in Rochester, NY ) is an American actor.

Born as Hugh O'Brian Krampe had during high school - time great sporting successes in football, basketball, over short distances and in wrestling. During the Second World War he was four years in the Navy. Then he enrolled at UCLA and took roles in small theater productions. He was soon discovered by Ida Lupino, who put him in her film "Never fear" (1949 ). His strong presence and excellent performance led to a contract with Universal.
