Hugo Becker (actor)

Hugo Becker ( born May 13, 1986 in Metz, France ) is a French actor who is best known for his role as Prince Louis Grimaldi in Gossip Girl.

Life & Career

After high school, Becker attended a French / English drama school ( Conservatory of Dramatic Art, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art ) in Paris. In 2010 he was awarded the Cannes young talent. In the same year he made his debut on the screen with a variety of roles, such as eg assaut as a politician in the French film L', when a drunken hitchhiker in La proie when student Eric Valette La première fois in, and as a funny Shops in La Croisière. In 2010 he made his American television debut as Louis Grimaldi, Prince of Monaco in Gossip Girl. In the fourth season of this series were two episodes in Paris, and 20 in New York. In 2011, Becker won the lead role in algebra in Love, alongside Greta Gerwig and Adam Brody, where Whit Stillman directed the film.
