Hühnerküppel

The Hühnerküppel is a 369.3 m above sea level. NN high mountain in the Taunus Nature Park, between Langenbach and Laubuseschbach in Hesse Limburg- Weilburg.

The mountain is located northwest of the historic Hessenstraße (old Keltenstraße ), which coincides here with the racing road. It bears traces of Celtic fortifications and settlements, there are also finds of iron slag. It offers good all-round visibility.

The former name was Hünerküppel, probably originally named after " giant ". Puppy Dog noisy Onomastics originally means " ( young ) Bear ", " Cub ", later in analogy to the importance as a giant ( Old-norse Hunn, norw dialect HUN).
