The Huish Park is a football stadium in Yeovil, England. It is the sporting home of the football club Yeovil Town and replaced the previous venue The Huish, in which the association from 1928 to 1990 was established.

History

The stadium is owned club and is on the western outskirts of Yeovil. Currently, the Huish Park offers 9,665 seats, of which 5,212 seats are. The construction cost of the venue with four stands were approximately 3.5 million pounds. The main grandstand Cowlin Stand and the opposite side AgustaWestland state are equipped with covered and seats. Between the seats are green on both tiers with white plastic seats, the club initials YTFC shown. The biggest difference between the side stands are the VIP boxes behind the seats of the Cowlin Stand as well as the players' tunnel and the coach benches. Similar in shape and height of the South Stand Blackthorn Terrace. The only unüberdachtem Rank Copse Road End the visiting fans are located. Also at the south end of the grandstand, guests will find seating. The three ranks have covered on the sides windbreak walls made of Plexiglas.

Attendance record

The highest number of visitors came on 25 April 2008. The Football League One match between Yeovil Town and Leeds United saw 9,527 spectators. The overall most visited game of Yeovil Town took place in the old Huish on 29 January 1949. The FA Cup match of the 4th round against Sunderland pursued 16,318 spectators.

Other Terms

The English U-18 national football team met on 22 May 1991 to the Welsh U18 team. On 27 March 2007 entered into Yeovil at the U18 against the U18 selection of the Netherlands. The English Under-16 team came in Huish Park against the U16 from Wales.
