Humanos was a Portuguese pop band.

History

For the 30th anniversary of the death of the pop musician António Variações in 2004, well-known Portuguese pop musicians got together the group in order to add sound unreleased tracks from Variações. This had left in a crate numerous records and tapes, with whole pieces or fragments of songs that he had not published until his death. The aim of the group was now to arrange this unpublished songs and to present to the public, and thus the late artist to pay tribute.

Had the all-star group with Manuela Azevedo ( singer of the band Clã ), the fado singer David Fonseca Camané and three singers. Furthermore, the band united, inter alia, musician the groups Clã ( Hélder Gonçalves ) and Bunny Ranch ( João Cardoso ).

The album that resulted from this work, release increased with the end of 2004 at # 5 of the Portuguese sales charts, reaching number one in the hit parade in which the album was performed 81 weeks long. The band also gave a series of concerts and played on some of the biggest festivals in the country, including the Festival of Southwest and a short impromptu performance at the Super Bock Super Rock.

After the release of the live album and live DVD, 2006, the group finished their project. The director António Ferreira turned in late 2006 a documentary on the band project.
