Hunstein's Mannikin

Description

The top of the head and the neck are silver-gray. The feathers on the sides of the head and at the back of the neck have darker feather centers, so that the Hunsteinnonne acts scaled in these parts of the body. The ear area is dark gray. The primary coverts and the wings are dark brown with very narrow golden-brown seams. The tips of the upper tail-coverts and middle tail feathers are reddish brown golden. The underside of the wings are brownish yellow. The rest of the body plumage is black.
