Huntsville Blast

The franchise was founded in 1993 as the successor of the team relocated to Huntsville Roanoke Valley Rampage and took his game to operating in the East Coast Hockey League. Was head coach of the Canadian Steve Gatzos, who was replaced during the season by the Italians Victor Posa. In her only season the team qualified for the play- offs, despite being in the regular season had a negative balance of 20 wins and 39 defeats. In the first round the team defeated in three games against the Birmingham Bulls and was eliminated from the competition. Shortly after, the franchise was dissolved and to Tallahassee, Florida, relocated. As the successor team originated there the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks.
