Background

Dylan reached number 33 on the Billboard charts with his song. This had an effective media coverage and in the end, the re-recording of the investigation result. Carter, however, was found in a second negotiation guilty. Dylan and his prominent supporters, however, did not give up and reached a further investigation of the case. In the third instance Carter was finally found innocent and acquitted of the charges.
