History

The Left Rhine line was at some distance from the places of the former mayor's Hürth. A railway station was therefore not provided by the web pages. Only in 1859 a station was built at the behest of the mayor. He lay on the Hermülheimer side of the track, close to the farm Kalscheuren, on the outbuildings still lived in 1887 only 52 inhabitants. The building consisted of two parallel and transverse to the track standing two and a half storey buildings and three windows, between which followed a two windows wide and two storeys stood at the building in front of confiscated Mittelbau, which closed to the platform with a canopy -supported on stands. The construction of the Eifel track that branched off directly outside the station, the station became " in insularity ". The building, however, was directly accessible from the train station directly at the railroad crossing Rodenkirchener road. The building was demolished in 1961. The distant tracks had to be reached through crossings.
