Hussein Ibish

Hussein Yusuf Kamal Ibish ( born 1963 in Beirut, Lebanon) is a researcher at the American Task Force on Palestine. In Comparative Literature Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He he is an ardent defender of the Arab cause in the United States.

Environment and study

Hussein Ibish comes from an academic family. His father Yusuf Ibish has studied at the University department of government administration, as well as in the 50's at Harvard and has taught Islamic Studies at the American University in Beirut. Hussein has acquired in 1986 at the College Emerson a diploma in general communication.

Awards

Hussein Ibish has in 2002 from the center of the Arab- American Association in Ohio to receive the annual prize for his contribution in the framework of economic and social sphere. A year later he was selected by the New York press as the best representatives of the Arab cause. 2004 is Ibish an award for his performance of the Arab- American Committee against discrimination.

Hussein Ibish has received numerous invitations to many prestigious universities in the U.S. and elsewhere to keep lectures, holding debates, etc. He has two speeches in 2002 and 2004, the annual meeting of the Association of Prosecutors and Woodrow in 2004 at Research International. He has been interviewed by Charlie Rose on the occasion of the 3rd Summit Flux and Reflux. He was also a guest at the Conference of the U.S. and the Islamic world, which had been organized by the Brookings Institute and the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Doha 2004. Some of his lectures have been presented at the C- spam sender ( including the " International Conference of the Press Club " and " The State of the Arab- Americans after 2011 ").
