Huy of Champasak

Prince ( Brhat Chao ) Huy was a son of Maha Uparat of Champasak, Unga (O ), who worked as a vassal of Siam 1778-1781, but was eventually killed by the Siamese under King Taksin. Huy was trained in the Corps at the Palace of King Rama I in Bangkok and joined the Siamese army, where he rose to general. In 1827 he was to catch the renegade prince governor Yoh and bring to Bangkok, but rushed this before from a temple roof. Huy was his successor.

Huy died in 1840, leaving seven sons and seven daughters.
