Hvarf home is a double album consisting of Hvarf, which includes a compilation of studio recordings of familiar and previously unreleased tracks, and home, which is a compilation of live acoustic recordings. Both works are considered independent but complementary albums, hence the double title.
The album was on 5 November 2007 worldwide and a day later released in North America as a double CD. The only single Hljomalind was already a week earlier on 29 October in the trade. On 8 May 2009 Hvarf home was re-released as a standard edition in Germany, the only unchanged summarizes the two albums on a single instead of two sound carriers and content.
