HWU transmitter

HWU is the callsign of three VLF transmitters of the French Navy at the frequencies of 18.3 kHz, 20.9 kHz and 21.7 kHz with a transmitter site Le Blanc in central France. The 46 ° 42'47 " north latitude and 1 ° 14'39 " east longitude location transmitter uses a transmitting antenna, which is carried by several 350 meter high masts. These include transmission towers, together with the masts of the long-wave transmitter Allouis to the tallest structures in France.
