Hyacinthe Jadin

Hyacinthe Jadin (* April 27, 1776 in Versailles, France; † September 27, 1800 in Paris) was a French composer. He was the brother of Louis Emmanuel Jadin. Her father Jean -Baptiste Jadin ( violinist in the Royal Orchestra) and the uncle Georges Jadin were composers in Versailles and Paris.

Life

Hyacinthe Jadin was a pupil of Nicolas- Joseph Hüllmandel, who was one of the major École des Pianistes Parisiens and thus certainly was an excellent teacher. His teaching was the solid foundation that Hyacinthe Jadin had become a brilliant pianist. Age of 13, he performed his own compositions at the Concert spiritual. Because TB disease he gave his last public concert on September 22 in 1799 and died a year later.

He has taught since 1795 at the Paris Conservatory, the ladies class for piano. Both Hyacinthe and his brother Louis Emmanuel belong to the circle of the French Revolution composers who have contributed to the occurrence of a band style in the late 18th century.

His music takes some twists and turns the music of Franz Schubert anticipated. Especially his piano works have a proto- romantic attitude that negate the style of the musical classics as well as expand.
