Hybrid disc

As a hybrid CD is called CD -ROM for Windows and Macintosh on which both an ISO 9660 file system is conforming to the conventions of MS- DOS, as well as an Apple File System in accordance with the guidelines of Apple HFS.

Hybrid CDs are used, among others, in computer games ( for multiple systems or with additional music), but more frequently for the purpose of copy protection for audio CDs.
