Hydrema

Hydrema is a construction machinery manufacturer from Denmark.

Hydrema 1959 Founded in the northern Danish town Støvring near Aalborg, where there is also one of the two production sites located. The second production plant is located in the Thuringian town of Weimar. The company already focused early on the construction of backhoe loaders, which were designed as stand-alone machinery, instead of based like other sellers on converted or modified agricultural tractors.

The Hydrema backhoe loaders were characterized by special features such as four-wheel drive, articulated steering and four equal-sized wheels, which also genuine loader work could be carried out. Another feature was already the first models of the boom pivot about 200 °, instead of similar machines only 180 °. The models produced from 1977 the 800 series enabled an even more pivotal to 280 °. In 1989, Hydrema also a small dump truck MBC 800 with 10 t payload in the program.
