Ambon Sail lizard (H. amboinensis )
Sail lizards ( Hydrosaurus ) are a genus of very large lizards from the Southeast Asian region, which belong to the family of Agamidae. It took its name from a large, supported by spinous skin sails, which extends over the tail of the males and there is only suggested in the females.
Occurrence
Each of the three species occurs on each of a Pacific island group. The Philippine sailing lizard in the Philippines, the Moluccas sailing lizard in the Moluccas and the Ambon - sailing lizard on Ambon, Buru and Ceram.
