Hygieia

Hygieia or Hygeia (Greek Ὑγίεια or Ὑγεία - " Health" ) is in Greek mythology, one of the daughters of Asclepius. She is a goddess of health and is considered the patron saint of pharmacists.

The word hygiene is derived from her name. Her sister Panacea is the goddess of medicine and sorcery. Most Hygeia is depicted with a cornucopia of fruit.
