Hyleas Fountain

Hyleas Fountain ( born January 14, 1981 in Columbus ) is a heptathlete from the United States. At a height of 1.70 m her competition weight is 60 kg.

Their first performance over 6500 points she put 2005 on Götzis with 6502 points. At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005, she was twelfth with 6055 points. At the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in 2006 she was awarded 4205 points eighth in the pentathlon.

Fountain first time took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. After winning the first two events and was in the lead, they fell through rather poor performance back in the shot put and javelin, but reached first to third place. Before her lay the two Ukrainian women Natalia Dobrynska and Ljudmyla Blonska, which, however, was stripped of his silver medal for doping. Fountain moved by by and got the silver medal awarded. With 6619 points Hyleas Fountain turned on her new personal best.
