Hyllus

Hyllus (Greek Ὕλλος ), Latin Hyllus, the eldest son of Heracles and Deianira, according to one version also son of Melita. Hyllus is one of the Heraclides. He is married with Iole and had this son Kleiodaios. The nurse Abia teased. Eurystheus, who was still out for revenge after the death of Heracles, persecuted the Heraclides. Among them was Hyllus. The first of these fled to king Ceyx to Trachis, then to Athens. Since the Heraclidae wanted to recapture the Peloponnese again, it came to a fight, which Hyllus killed the Eurystheus. In a duel with Echemus Hyllos died. He was buried in Megara.
