Hyltebruk

Hyltebruk is the capital of the Swedish community Hylte. Hyltebruk is located in the province of Halland County and the historic province of Småland. The place had a year 2010 3716 inhabitants in an area of 491 hectares.

The main economic activities are forestry and paper production. The town developed as a work settlement around the paper mill Hulte ( Hylte bruk ), today one of the largest newsprint manufacturer in the world.

The local volleyball club Hylte VBK was several times Swedish champion, most recently in 2010.
