Hyogo University of Teacher Education

The College of Education Hyōgo (Japanese兵 库 教育 大学, Hyōgo Kyoiku daigaku; engl Hyogo University of Teacher Education, in short: Hyōkyōdai (兵 教 大). ) Is a public educational college in Japan. The main campus is located in Katō in Hyōgo Prefecture.

History

The university was founded in 1978 as one of the " colleges of education in the new concept ." She put their emphasis on the training of teachers. She has no predecessor, for example, Shihan Gakko (Normal School ); the Normal School and Youth Normal School Hyōgo were the predecessors of the Faculty of Human Sciences, University of Kobe.

It opened in 1978, the Bachelor's degree programs (training courses for teachers in kindergartens and primary schools ) and 1980 Masters courses (training courses for teachers), and 1996, then the doctor courses as a joint Graduate School of Okayama University and the Universities of Education, Joetsu and Naruto.
